We help our clients in the planning, design and implementation of improvements in industrial management & engineering. We see integration as the key to success in operations improvement. We help our clients to integrate improvements in strategy, process, organization, information, physical facilities and performance measurements.
We work on the principle of helping our clients help themselves. We enable our clients to continue improving themselves by applying our proven methods tried in various projects around the globe and by teaching and implementing their usage. Furthermore, we have a network of international relations consisting of experts specialized in operational and technical matters as well as research files consisting of best practices for detailed analysis of matters that require expertise.
We help our clients enhance their strategic, organizational and operational efficiencies in order to raise their performance and profitability. The clients working with us will gain the following benefits:
Various training programs, seminars and workshops building upon practical experiences from more than 2,000 projects, in which more than 15,000 executives, engineers and planners have participated from 20 countries, are offered at our clients’ premises or at public venues by the collaboration of leading universities and industrial organizations. Each course is based on one or more systematic planning method. Our methods are well documented and can be easily learned.
Our approach is one of guided discovery through hands-on working seminars. Those attending always do something, not just listen or watch. Each course has been designed to allow you to execute a project phase by phase and successfully apply the methods you learn. Each program employs case exercises and discussion drawn from worldwide consulting experience in more than 2000 projects and facilities. We present case exercises in an applicable and participative way.
Programs can be customized, with case exercises focused on current needs. Or we can replace our cases with your active planning and improvement projects. Course durations range from two to four days and are ideal for project teams. Courses of three or more days prepare participants for official certificate (optional) exam for our most important methods.
We are practitioners first, instructors second. All of our course leaders have years of prior experience as managers, engineers, team leaders, and consultants. They have completed dozens of assignments in their fields of expertise and instruction and draw extensively upon these experiences during their presentations. And, because they are primarily consultants, they are continually renewing their expertise and staying in-touch with the needs and concerns of those they are teaching.
Certified trainers may provide license for in-house use of our training materials which are methodology based. Our trainers are experienced in executive training and comparative evaluation to enable our clients to efficiently use advanced level technical and business experiences.
Objectives of our certification program are as follows:
· Ensure the quality of the application and instruction of methods.
· Maintain the consistency of concept and understanding.
· Ensure better results within a company with certified individuals.
· Recognize the fact that an individual has valuable skills and deep knowledge in his/her respective field. For individuals in project manager, project leader or program manager roles, or who want to hold these roles, certification will raise the confidence of those who are in charge of approving and supporting your plans.
· Certification is an essential first step for the licensing of our training materials for the purpose of their in-house use.
Certification consists of two parts:
Part I - Examination: A written test that takes two to three hours. The first section includes correct-wrong, gap filling and multiple-choice questions. The second section continues with a small case study. Exams are concluded as “passed” or “failed”.
Part II – Project Presentation: It involves the version of a real project as developed using the relevant method. As requested, details of documentation must be presented. This presentation is also assessed as “passed” or “failed”.
Each candidate must present his/her own project, which must be signed as his/her own work. Team presentations are not acceptable.
SYSTEMATIC STRATEGIC PLANNING (SSP)
Systematic Strategic Planning is the pattern of procedures by which an organization defines its current status, opportunities, long-term goals and the strategies for which to achieve them.
The aim of Systematic Strategic Planning is to force a look into the future and therefore provides an opportunity to influence the future, or assume a proactive posture, to provide better awareness of needs and environment, to help define and focus on the objectives of the organization, to provide a sense of direction, continuity, and effective leadership and to plug everyone into the system and provides standards of accountability for people, programs, and allocated resources.
Certain working forms (in the forms of key documents and output) are used in applying the techniques in each section or steps of the SSP pattern.
Systematic Strategic Planning consists of a framework of phases through which each project passes, a pattern of sections for straight-forward planning, and the fundamentals (Competitive Advantages, Scenarios, Strategies) involved in any strategic planning project.
